Stromboli alla Pastorelli

If you love pizza, and you’re not a baker, but you’ve been getting all kinds of crazy ideas from watching them make Swiss Rolls on The Great British Bakeoff, then this recipe is for you. You can make your own pizza dough, or grab a can of the pre-made stuff from the store, top with sauce, cheese and pepperoni, then roll it up into a Stromboli. Make sure you have a nice, tight swirl, now! Ready… set… bake!

Ingredients:

Directions:

Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle. Spread a thick layer of Pastorelli pizza sauce onto the dough, then sprinkle on cheese and arrange a generous portion of pepperoni. Tightly roll the Stromboli like Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood are going to be judging you. Be sure to pinch the dough on the ends so that the cheese and sauce don’t ooze out. Place on a non-stick Then simply bake at 425 for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes, then slice and serve with a side of warm Pastorelli pizza sauce for dipping.
